Lori Lombardi Ryan, CMP
Lori joined OCMG at the onset in 1993 from Walt Disney World Marketing and prior to that GE Horizons Marketing in EPCOT Center. Lori has been planning events and promotions for over 26 years. She has developed particular skills in management, sales, and services for OCMG and with Fortune 500 companies.
Celebrating 26 years with OCMG, Lori has developed and grown the business, establishing a reputation for excellence and expertise from large meetings/conventions to customer advisory boards. Lori is known for her meticulous attention to detail. She has extensive experience designing, planning and implementing highly complex functions that meet customer’s budget requirements while managing her own company effectively. Meeting and event management expertise includes site selection, registration, website management, on-site coordination, creative themed event planning, recreation/entertainment theming and production with the financial management expertise to keep it all on budget.
During her years at OCMG, Lori has developed strong, long-term repeat group relationships with major companies and organizations such as General Electric (GE), General Nutrition Centers (GNC); GE Foundation, Element Fleet, Synchrony Financial, Donlen Corporation, and National Science Teachers Association (NSTA). Prior to companies such as CVENT, with which Lori has extensive expertise being common, she worked with a web development team to design a custom web registration tool that provides real-time report access to clients and attendees.
While at Disney, Lori was involved in promotions, press events and special events for the theme parks such as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Night of Joy and Grad Nites as well as International Marketing, TV and radio remotes for film and tape. Lori also has many years of experience in charitable events/scholarship fundraising and has chaired several events that raised over $100,000 each. Lori also donated her time managing an amateur athlete during an Olympic hopeful program in conjunction with Coca-Cola Powerade & Home Depot as well as during the athlete’s professional career.
Lori is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), a member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), Florida Society of Association Executives (FSAE), Advisory Council member at Church In the Son, and a graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in Journalism.
