Orlando Conference Management Group was founded by Claudette Stroble in 1993 with a focus on providing corporate services for conferences, conventions, meetings and events that were selecting Orlando as their destination. Claudette recruited Lori Lombardi Ryan from The Walt Disney Company to join her on this exciting new journey.
OCMG quickly became a well known leader for managing inbound Orlando meetings at nearly every major theme park, hotel, resort and event site in the city. Clients were so pleased with the Orlando service that they soon began asking if OCMG could help plan and manage additional events across the country and around the world.
They could do that. And they did.
In 1999, OCMG became nationally certified by WBENC as a women-owned and operated entity with additional certifications in Florida, Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey.
After 19 years of company expansion, Claudette decided that it was time to retire and in 2012 turn over leadership and ownership of OCMG to Lori, who was ready to take Orlando Conference Management Company to the next level.
