OCMG is opposed to racism, and believes black lives matter. The needless and tragic death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, and the much deeper systemic issues towards African Americans that his death has highlighted, must lead to radical and permanent change. It is our prayer that this moment in history will be a moment of lasting equality, transformation and change.
“For God loved the world so much that he gave His only Son, so that anyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. God did not send His Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it.” John 3:16-17.
